What is Olecranon Bursitis?​
Olecranon bursitis is the inflammation of the bursa located at the tip of the elbow (olecranon). The bursa is a small sac filled with fluid that helps reduce friction between bones and soft tissues.

Symptoms

Swelling and redness at the back of the elbow

Pain when bending the elbow or pressing on the swollen area

Stiffness in the elbow joint

In severe cases, fever and warmth around the elbow (if infected)

Risk Factors

Ultrasound-Guided Steroid Injections: Reducing inflammation in the bursa
