What is Golfer’s Elbow (Medial Epicondylitis)?
Golfer’s elbow, also known as medial epicondylitis, is similar to tennis elbow but affects the tendons on the inner side of the elbow. This condition is caused by repetitive stress on the tendons that control wrist and finger movements.

Pain and tenderness on the inside of the elbow

Pain that radiates down the forearm

Weakness in the hand and wrist

Stiffness in the elbow, especially in the morning

Risk Factors

Repetitive wrist and forearm motions: Common in golfers, baseball players, and people who frequently use hand tools

Improper technique: During sports or work activities

Previous elbow injuries: Increases the risk of developing golfer’s elbow

Age: More common in adults aged 40 and above
