AC joint osteoarthritis involves the degeneration of cartilage in the acromioclavicular joint, where the clavicle meets the acromion. This condition is commonly seen in older adults or those with a history of shoulder trauma.

Pain at the top of the shoulder, especially when lifting the arm or reaching across the body

Swelling and tenderness over the AC joint
